Aggregate investments of NBU make up 35.18bn soums in 1H

National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity directed 35.18 billion soums to purchase of shares in the enterprises. The growth of investment portfolio made up 6.72 billion soums year-on-year.
The bank actively participated in development of infrastructure of securities market of Uzbekistan. Elsis Savdo and Elsis Clearing companies were created to develop the secondary securities market and attract free money of population to this segment of the market.
