As a result of Anti-Crisis Program implementation, 122 of 143 enterprises that went bankruptcy were restored to production by Uzbek banks in the first half of 2010. Among them 55 enterprises were sold to strategic investors.
Participation applications for tender (as Bank’s set form) should be admitted by legal persons only.
The tender documentations for persons claiming interest for participation will be issued in 14 calendar days after publishing this announcement.
The days, when the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was held in Tashkent, have produced constructive and forward looking debate on a wide variety of issues that currently affect the Asia and Pacific region, ADB President Haruhiko Kuroda said in his closing statement on 4 May.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov spoke at the opening session of the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Tashkent on 3 May. He cordially welcomed participants, representatives of high-profile international organizations and all guests who have arrived in the Uzbek capital.
"It is a great honor for us that the capital of our country is the first among the states of Central Asia and Caucasus that was chosen as a venue to hold this important event, and we would like to express the sincerest gratitude to the governments of the ADB member-countries that took this decision," he emphasized.
Applications for participating in the tender (on a predefined form by the Bank) are accepted from legal entities.
Issuing tender documentation to applicants is done in duration of calendar days after the publication date of the present announcement.
